President’s Message – Fall 2011

I just got back from our National Show and Sale. It was great to see so many Romneys and Romney breeders from all across the country. The weather was not the best, but a good time was had by all.

Many of us have discussed the value of this website. We are working to make the site more complete and informative. Soon you will see more content on display and information will be updated in a timely manner. The American Romney Breeders Association board of directors all agree that we must make this site the best that it can be. Look for a more exciting and informative site very soon.

Speaking of the board of directors; I would like to take this time to welcome our new members:

Hilary Chapin – District 1

Tracy Haslem – At Large
Willis Plank – At Large

The board has met, organized and is ready to serve the membership. There are important issues before the board. This board will carefully consider and discuss all matters and report back to the membership. We are in the beginning stages of planning for our hundred year anniversary. We will be starting our celebration at Oregon State Fair, then take the celebration to both the District 2 and District 6 Regional shows. It’s going to be a fantastic year for ARBA in 2012.
