Romney Juniors — Start your engines and mark your calendars

The summer shows are fast approaching with many opportunities to promote the Romney breed while having a good time with friends and families. Although many of you attend local fairs and shows, I would like to encourage you to participate in shows outside of your normal arena. This year add just one or two more events to your calendar and meet new friends and make new memories. Those of you, who haven’t experienced the All American Jr Show or the Northeast Youth Show, need to do so this year. Both of these shows are held in July and are family oriented with fun and education rolled into one.

The All American Jr Show will be held at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. The dates are July 5th through the 7th, 2013. This will be the fourth year that Romneys have been a part of this well- run organization. Schedule of events will be posted on their website soon. Raffle money and donations have made it possible for the Romneys to be able to participate in this show so please make an effort to attend. Ask your friends, even those with other breeds, and they will tell you what an awesome time they had last year. Lots of prizes, lots of fun! The Northeast Youth Show and Sale will be held in West Springfield, MA (at BigE fairgrounds) on July 19th through 21st, 2013. The Romney breed is well represented in the northeast corner of the US and many youth and sheep will attend this show. It’s another family favorite geared towards fun and education.
