New Year, New Faces!
Starting this new year with new faces! As we prepare for lambing season it is a time to reflect on past show seasons and breeding results. We should look back at the 2020 accomplishments from the barn to the show ring. Some of you may have tried new show techniques that you have found useful while others not so much. Use those experiences to better your upcoming shows this spring and fall. Back at the farm, what made your outcome better? Was it trying new feed options? Or maybe even trying new fitting techniques? Whatever you have learned, build on those goals.
Many of you have started seeing new little faces in the barn! These little faces are the result of good breed planning and product betterment. Maybe you were striving to have a longer body style; or maybe you want better fleece quality. Whatever your goal was, hopefully you will see your achievements in your new lamb crop! Speaking of new faces, we would love to see new member faces! If you know anyone interested in the Romney breed, reach out to any active Romney member to learn more! We hope Ewe have a very successful show season this upcoming year!
