Grey Bruce Farmers Week 2020 Livestreaming Agricultural Learning Opportunity – SHEEP DAY 2020
Dear Shepherd’s, Shearers, Sheep producers and Sheep enthusiasts:
Grey Bruce Farmers Week (GBFW) will be hosting its 54th annual conference January 3-9, 2020 in Elmwood Ontario. GBFW has been a main stay for the agricultural industry in Grey County since 1966. Our mandate to provide education to farmers and agribusiness has been steadily growing. We started out as a 3-day event and grew to a full week event in the 90’s.
GBFW is coordinated via Grey County Agricultural Services in Markdale. In keeping with progress, we proudly started to offer livestreaming in 2018 as an option to folks who are unable to attend in person. While the best way to experience GBFW is in person we understand you may live farther a field or have never-ending chores that may keep you from joining us. With this new option we can extend our reach even further to farmers and agribusiness virtually eliminating geographical boundaries.
We would like to extend the offer to take advantage of our livestreamed content to enhance and extend the educational opportunities available to your organization and affiliated groups. Please help us and share this information with your members to let them know about this great resource. Livestreaming recordings are ideal for continuing education credits, professional development and youth organizations such as 4H.
GBFW has 7 commodity days – Sheep day may be of interest to you and your colleagues!
We invite you to check out our past and upcoming content at www.gbfw.ca, our YouTube channel and social media. Facebook: Grey Bruce Farmers Week, Twitter: @GBFarmersWeek, Instagram: gbfarmersweek #GBFW20
