President’s Message – December 2011

With the holidays fast approaching, it has finally turned cold in the mid-Atlantic. The ewes are bred and the rams are resting. The lambs are becoming yearlings and the shepherd gets ready for the new lambs. Soon we will see if all our hard work pays off, with the best lamb crop ever.

Welcome to the “New” American Romney Breeders Association website. Our webmaster Doug Meyer and the website committee have worked very hard to create this wonderful new site. Please take a look around and let us know what you think.

Plans for the ARBA centennial are being finalized. Look for information and details in the Ramblings and on this site soon. I am planning on attending all three of our district shows in 2012. I want to see every part of this celebration for myself. I am looking forward to seeing you there.
